Congrats! And good luck! I like the thoughtful solution you came up with.

You delve into so much idealistic (and I don't mean that in a bad way) world thoughts...I admire those but am overwhelmed by the callous nature of those you condemn. I wish we had an answer, or a solution....

I wanted to comment on your solitude vs people contact experiences and completely relate to that. On the risk of negativity we spend weeks away from people...and then we, too, revisit 'normal' society and I meet people I don't necessarily relate to, and also folks that I adore... and then I haul up my anchor and am happier out watching the Sunrise, just me and my crew and all the peaceful things we love.

It's difficult to balance, and I enjoy your commentaries.

All the best,

J

Thanks, Janice. I guess I am hoping to show that we DO have solutions. We just have to choose them. I definitely enjoy time ashore (just not too much of it!). It’s not perfect out there/here either, so you are right that balance, and finding the good experiences and people wherever we are is the key.

We've got a baby on the way, so acquiring lots and lots of stuff/ things getting prepped. Totally overwhelmed by the endless consumption! So we're donating to various orgs in honor of the recipient; it's thoughtful and helpful, some of my favorite things!
